Smiley Face

The many smiles of Alex which are the majority of the faces he makes.  He is such a happy baby as long as you keep the food close at hand.

These are some random pictures taken over the last couple weeks that don't really fit into a specific post but wanted to make sure we all got to see them.

 Look they really love each other.  

 Definitely can see the family resemblance.

 I will need to look back on these to remind myself that at one point they really did like each other.

 Sent to us in an email from daycare.  Amaya, Matthew and Natalie.

 Matthew finally managed to corner Moley and pick him up.  I have flashback of Cracker when I see this.  The big difference is when he put Moley down he had the good sense to run away instead of sit there and wait for more like Cracker.

 This picture was taken with the old camera last weekend.  This is the face I see when he comes to talk to me and he is very excited about something.  I have never been able to capture it on film before.

Matthew took this one and I love the look on Alex's face.

Last weekend Matthew found my "old" digital camera and started taking pictures.  The following is a sample of what is important in Matthew's world.

Playing Chef

Matthew's new favorite game to play is Chef.  

 He is the chef and I am anything from the sous chef to the sausage chef to the waiter.

 It pretty much consists of him flattening hunks of bun and putting them in a bowl and giving me instructions.

It may seem uninteresting but let me tell you it keeps him busy for hours at a time.

Daddy and Matthew went down to the river to check out the "Rainbow Salmon" up close.

 They were lucky enough to find a few that had already expired.

 And someone built an Inukshuk.
