GO HAWKS
On November 9th Kathy and I went to a Seahawks game because a friend of hers gave her FREE tickets.
Woohoo, right under the hawks nest.
The view from our seats.
I wore my canada mittens in hopes that I could be spotted on the tvv.
The rain set in about half way through.
But it didn't dampen our spirits
Final score (we played New York)
And we saw this on our way home
Fun in the Sun
Enjoying the sun and the sandbox.
A spoonful of rocks of course.
The boys with their blue mouths and balloon sculptures at the community picnic.
Down Time
Despite the craziness that is our life, we do have down time.
Hanging out in bed watching you tube vids of cats, dogs, babies and monster trucks.
Alex learning the joys of the iPhone
What you take to your class when you have a peanut and an egg allergy in your classroom.
Matthew sleeping next to Nana and Papa because he was missing them.
A little more quiet time with the iPhone in the middle of the coffee table, like you do.
I am in the process of trying to decide if the lovely quiet that happens when he has the phone is worth the heartbreaking, earsplitting anger that occurs when I have to take it away from him.
Halloween
October 31st finally arrives.
Matthew was supposed to be an Enderman from Minecraft but the head was much too big.
So after some last minute shopping and a knock down, drag out tantrum/bargaining session with Alex we got them both dressed up and ready to go trick or treating.
Daddy did the heavy lifting.
After the ridiculousness of the trick or treating and the sugar high, the boys got to play int he tub with the left ver glow sticks.
The homemade decorations to line the walkway to the front door. They turned out great and are all ready to go for next year.
Pumpkin Carving
Turns out this year the pumpkin carving was a grown up event (unfortunately)
The parents did the work while Matthew took pictures and Alex wandered around.
digging out the guts
I did the separating of the seeds for roasting.
Matthew chose what would be carved.
Daddy did the arty part.
