Matthew is always sooooo excited to get in the tub.

SCREAM

Tonight while Matthew was eating his dinner, Aaron came into the kitchen and this ensued.

Crosswords

Ok so a few weeks ago I picked up the Renton Reporter and saw the crossword puzzle there in the back. I'd been thinking I could use a little brain exercise so the quest began. The first attempt was dismal, the second a little better although I have to admit the online crossword dictionary has been a pretty big help. This week though is the week where my true genius at doing the crossword is beginning to show.

I do have a question though...
Can anyone give me the answer to 29 down? 10 letters: Act of Improvement.
So far I have: ENIICYM_ _ _

Yeah that's right...I am GOOD AT THIS!!

Gifts in the Mail

In mid December we received a package in the mail from the Markosky family.
Matthew was thrilled with the blue tissue paper
and thought maybe there was some water in this lovely red box for bubble blowing.
Alas it turned out it was just tissue paper in a pretty red box.
Oh yeah and this super cool compass that he will be able to appreciate in a few years. For now Aaron and I have been admiring it. Thank you guys so much for this thoughtful gift (and for all the other things you sent a few months ago that I keep forgetting to thank you for, oops).

Attempt at Santa Photos

One of my patients' office had Santa come for the afternoon. Matthew and I went and I tried to take some pictures. Lets just say there were a lot of distractions.
Doesn't really seem that interested does he?
But he will gladly accept candy from a stranger.
Here he was trying to see around me to the baby that I was blocking.
This is a pretty good one of Santa.
And this is about the best of the two of them. So sad.

Siblings

While Mackenzie was here she and Matthew got to spend some quality time together.
They are making faces into the camera on the computer.
He was fascinated that he could see himself doing things.
It was all very exciting and he needed to chew something quick.
Gorgeous blue eyes all around, you can tell they run in the family!!
We found out yesterday she will be back in March for his first birthday. Can't wait.

Thanksgiving

Mackenzie came for the week of Thanksgiving this year so even though it was just the four of us and we were all sick with nasty colds, we did the whole big meal.
Aaron was in charge of the bird, deep fried in the rain of course!
Apparently it turned out good.
It was a group effort this year and Mackenzie did at least half of it. It was all we could do to get dinner ready never mind get showered and/or out of our jammies.
Doesn't look like much but it was delicious. As you can see Matthew didn't make it to dinner, he needed a little siesta and joined us later.

Random Images

So in November we got a new camera and it has taken until now to get the images into our computer and onto the blog.
