Next stop takes the band back to Washington and a stop in Yakima

ABA Day 9 - March 29

On this 9th day of the tour the band and crew had a day off so they stopped at Jesse's parents house to refuel and rest up.
After many long stinky days in the van, Aaron chose to sleep out on the sun porch.

ABA - Day 6

A day of travel to Fresno, CA and a day off between shows leads to some big time band bonding at the bar.

Aaron finally in bed about 1:30am after gathering his boys and escorting them to bed.

ABA - Day 5

A quick four hour drive from Vegas to Pomona CA, brings the band to their second venue.

Beautiful sunny day leads to pho for lunch outside.

Happy Aaron in the sun.

ABA - Day 4

Friday night March 23. The night of the first official tour show.

ABA - Day 3

Although the first show isn't until tomorrow night, the band had to be in Vegas a day early in order to film a tv show for Gibson on the local Fox affiliate.

Aaron looking cool but totally freaking out with excitement on the inside.

Some pre-program photos of Glen playing.

Out for dinner and drinks with the boys after the taping.

ABA - Day 2

The drive to Vegas ended up taking closer to 24 hours as they ran into a blizzard going over the mountains and had issues with non-functional windsheild wipers.

This picture was taken mid-morning about 600 miles from Vegas.

Tony and Aaron checking in with the sig others.

Aaron's Big Adventure

About a month ago Aaron was offered an opportunity to live out the dream of going on the road with a rock band. His buddies in Windowpane signed up for a month long tour with the headliner band Five Finger Death Punch. He will go along as manager/merchandise salesman/guitar tech.

Group photo just before they piled in the van to start the 18 hour drive to Vegas. There will be 6-7 guys driving the 8,000 mile trip in that there van.

Nice fuzzy portrait in the dark on the road.

Another one about five hours into the trip.

A good view of the set up in the van. Looks decent since 2 guys can lay down and sleep at any given time, with one co-pilot to keep the pilot awake and 2-3 guys on the bench seat in the back.

Note: These following posts are done with limited information so you will have to wait for Aaron to come back and fill in the details.

Chronicles of A Megawalk

Today was the first day in many many days that it did not pour down rain or snow or hail (yesterday it hailed hard for about 15 minutes leaving the ground covered in ice that lasted until mid day today) so Matthew and I took advantage of the "good" (it was barely above freezing) weather and went for a walk. Daddy was up to his eyeballs in rock and roll tour last minute details.
About half way we stopped along the river to throw rocks in the water.
Picking the best and biggest.

We were almost home when the walk degraded to this.
The last block was really slow for all of us.

Mummy I Just Need a Coconut

The night before this video was taken Matthew woke up from a nightmare telling me he needed a coconut. After I laughed and got yelled at for laughing, I agreed to get him a coconut the next day. Thinking he had forgotten about it while we were playing the next morning he looked at me again and said "Mummy I just need a coconut." I asked why and his response "So I can drink the milk out of it with a straw". Duh. On our way home from work we stopped at the store and got a coconut, Daddy drilled three holes and we stuck a straw in it.

After he decided he wasn't a fan of coconut milk we had to open it to see what was inside. Turns out the actual coconut is as unimpressive as the milk.

Giggles with Archie

When Archie comes into the house there is a lot of giggling and running and general chaos. By the time Archie has pooped out and Matthew is headed for a nap the kid is covered in dog hair and dog lick.
