Fish and Motorcycles
The other day we went for a walk and while looking for spiders on the old bridge, Matthew informed me that he could see "rainbow salmon"!!
The Sockeye had returned for spawning in the Cedar River.
Holy Moly he could see them every where. I think this is the first year he has really been able to spot them.
When we got home we found this sitting on the front step. A totally awesome rocking Harley Davidson from Dennis. He found it at a 2nd hand store and fixed it up. It is now in the pantry which Matthew has designated as the motorcycle garage. He loves it. He will be in the other room riding it and yell "I'm almost out of gas, which way to the gas station?"

Doin' the Puyallup
Today we closed the office and Dr. Brian treated everyone to a trip to the Puyallup Fair. For those of you not in the know the Puyallup Fair is the 4th largest county fair in the nation.
First stop immediately inside the gates was the antique merry-go-round.
I took pictures and video while Dr. B and Kindra joined Matthew onthe ride.
Second ride of the day, first one that he was actually tall enough to go on, the race cars.
Then the space ships.
The Dragon Roller Coaster was a big hit, this one we did twice in a row.
Then the quads.
I have to say thanks a ton to Kindra and Carl and Dr. B who all stood around patiently in the heat, watching Alexander, while Matthew rode these rides and I took pictures.
My little spider man. When we got home after the fair today, we played face painting!
Nyimah got a tattoo.
Erica got her face painted too!
After some food and the face painting, the big kids headed for the midway.
I took Matthew, Nyimah and Alex to check out the animals in the barns.
Alex was in the moby wrap while we did this, thats why he isn't in any of the pictures.
All in all we were at the fair for five and a half hours.
This kiddo was out cold before we got to the freeway but if you asked him he was NOT tired.

Big Milestone
A couple days ago Alex figured out how to get his fingers in his mouth on purpose. I know this is weird that the picture was taken while he was in his car seat but I'm tellin' ya this kid is camera shy. Every time I got the camera on his to document this event, he would stop doing it.
Aaahhhh, look at those fabulous stinky baby feet!! Ooooh I just love 'em!!!
Big Digger
This afternoon Matthew dragged his big digger he got from Papa on his birthday out into the front yard and went to work. He had such a great time on his construction site!
In the end, all I had to do was get the big broom out and sweep the dirt back into the flower bed.
