What Love Looks Like to Me

I saw a video on youtube the other day entitled "What Love Looks Like to Me"
Evidence of love in my life.

Grave Digger

Matthew got several monster trucks for Christmas.
This is Grave Digger.
We saw this parked at the high school on the way to daycare last Wednesday.  We totally had to stop.  It even had skull stickers on the side! Too cool!!

Later in the Day

It turned out to be a fantastic afternoon so we went outside.  While Alex was napping Matthew helped me scrub the moss, yes that's right, moss off my car.  I only got sprayed in the head with the hose twice.
After his nap, Alex came out to enjoy his first afternoon in the yard.
It was a time of great discovery: grass, moss, sticks, rocks, leaves, dirt....
Needless to say both boys were in bed and asleep about an hour ahead of their regular schedule.

Easter Prep

Today we dyed our easter eggs.
Getting everything ready.  Matthew got to put the tablets in the vinegar, dump in and stir the water and stir the glitter into the colors. And that was before we even put the eggs in!
Showing him what happens when you draw on the eggs with wax/crayons first.
Alex helped by sitting in his highchair and eating cherlios (or Cheerios to the rest of the world) and then enjoying a bottle.
Mummy even got in on the action.
Looks thrilled at this point doesn't he? Like the headband keeping his much in need of a cut hair out of the easter egg dye.
Much more excited now.
 Finished product(s).

My Boys

I love it when the boys coincidentally wear matching outfits and sit next to each other so I can get a picture. Per previous photo sessions:
 Nice pose
True personalities.  And how truly awesome is that bed head?

Entertainment

Matthew getting a little exercise and Alex enjoying the show.
Matthew often takes several opportunities throughout the day to run circles around the living room, around the chimney in the center of the house, around the kitchen island or up and down the hallway.  If I had a 10th of the energy of that kid I would be a billionaire.
Listen for the crash and "oomph" at about the forty second mark.

The Hazards of Movement

Learning to crawl has led Alex to some new and exciting places.
Heey Ladie! Look what I found laying on the floor under the table!

 Ummm, a little help?

This one doesn't look like a big deal but he got himself behind the chair and thought he had been left all alone.
 "Oh!, There you are!"
Stuck under another chair when checking out the strings hanging off the "hem" of the curtains.
So terribly sad when you get stuck under the chair and behind the leg of the guitar stand at the same time.
Stuck but not really worried about it.
Why worry when you have a rattle AND a soother to keep you company.
