Wedding in Montana

Last week we were in Montana to be a part of Rick and Ida's wedding.  It was short notice but we weren't going to miss it!  It was a Greenreich reunion of sorts so I got to know Aaron's Aunt Mary, Grandma Babka, Uncle Bob and Peggy much better.

While we were there Aaron decided to try for the fish in Jack creek which runs through his dad's property.   In the background you can see the gazebo that they had built for the wedding.

He decided to spend some extra time in this little creek because the Madison was running really high and really fast due to a damn malfunction upriver.

He caught a bunch of these little fighters.  They were really pretty.

The happy couple right after the ceremony.  It was a solmemnization ceremony.  Back in the days of the wild wild west when ministers were hard to come by congress passed a law that said anyone could marry anyone as long as there were witnesses.  This law is still valid in three states, one of which is Montana, so they had Johnny France the former sherrif marry them.
This is the tent where the meal was served and for the rest of the non-morning sick guests, the steak and lobster was fabulous (I had string cheese!)  It was a beautiful setting and very sweet.  After the fancy stuff, everyone got back into their jeans and headed out to the bonfire, where Johnny France played his harmonica and told us a great poem about a cowboy buying his wife a bra.  It was a wonderful day/week.
