When we moved in I bought black out curtains for the boy's room. They were a boring beige so Auntie Kathy suggested we paint them with fabric paint.
Since it was her idea, she came over on a lovely sunny day to help out.
We started with hand prints.
Alex needed a little help.
Then I decided that Alex should do some serious body painting
He really wasn't into it
Matthew was next and apparently the paint was cold.
But his body imprints were great!
Before long Alex was covered in paint but really happy
In the end we made quite a spectacle of ourselves and a couple of the neighbourhood girls stopped by to find out what we were up to and add their own touches.
A snack in the backyard after some clean up.
And airplane rides.
It was a wonderful afternoon but a word to the wise...fabric paint doesn't wash off.
