Alex chose a Rainbow Power Rangers theme
Since the weather was supposed to be super, we decided to throw an "old fashioned" party with the kids on our street playing all the games we played when I was a kid.
There was a treasure hunt in the sand box.

amped up with a water cannon spray when you got out
The kids were a little uneasy at first but after the first couple of dousings
were lining up to get sprayed.
Then we played musical chairs with the sprinkler in the middle. The kids LOVED it and we played three rounds.
Ava found all this water nonsense ridiculous so she hung out with me

Grandma Joyce sent a box of wigs for the kids
Lastly, we played several rounds of Hot Potato
At the end of the day,Alex took the balloons to the tub.
