Our Swallow Family returned to nest in the same nest above the family room window they used last year. You can tell when they come back because of the poop they leave all down the window. We got to see the second set of babies just before they left the nest for the first time.
All squished in waiting for someone to arrive with food.

Mum or Dad arrives with a treat.
About a half hour later we noticed that there were only two in the nest and that this one was taking a "holy shit that was scary" breather on Aaron's car. He was nice enough to leave a little poop behind to mark his presence.
Perched on the edge of the nest looking very proud of themselves after their first flight or two. After this all five of them would return each night to sleep in the nest for about a week then the babies went off on their own. We think Mum and Dad are still there and may be planning one more set of eggs before they are done for the year.
